E-DESIGN

E-DESIGN PROCESS AND INSTRUCTIONS

E-design packages include an introductory call to talk about your space, a 3d and 2d design board with a visual representation and basic measurements of the recommended layout. Check out the examples at the bottom of the page to see what a 3d design looks like. We are offering this feature due to the high demand from contractors who just want a beautiful, functional layout and visual to show their clients. The 3d images and movie help homeowners who just want to see in a “real life view” what potential their property has to offer but have no idea where to start or may possibly want to do themselves. No matter how near or far away you are we can now, through most gis images and a survey, do a landscape concept plan if you are 1 mile away or 1,000.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

Step 1: A phone conversation to discuss the needs and wants for your outdoor space. This helps us understand the scope of your project, style, budget, and wish list. The more specific you can be, the better. Also and houzz or pintrest pages are very helpful.

Step 2: Purchase your design package. Prices vary by scope of project.  Payment must be received before the design phase begins.

Step 3: Send photos of the area of focus from all angles, survey of property and if possible any building plans with windows and doors to don@donhugginsdesigns.com. With new GIS technology integrated with our design programs we may be able to get most of your information from satellite images too.

The a plan can be simple and hand-drawn, but please include dimensions doorways, windows, trees and any important architectural elements.

The Design Phase

Once I have all the information and you've purchased your package, we'll start on the design phase. You should expect to receive a preliminary design board via my client portal within two weeks, and you'll be able to provide feedback at that time. Timely responses from your side will ensure the best experience as well, and with good communication, we can put together the design plan in just a couple of weeks.

Once the design phase is complete, you'll receive a final design package, which includes:

  •       A plan view layout of planting plan and hardscape plan.

  •       The 3d design movie storyboard and jpeg pictures (approx. 10-20 pictures)

  • List of suggested materials.
